4 THINGS YOU SHOULD DO BEFORE YOU SLEEP
The day is far spent and you’re so stressed out that you feel like resting in the hands of Morpheus. In the course of running the day you must have encountered some difficulties and victories, some major, some minor. Well here are 4 things you should do before you rest your bones.
GIVE THANKS: Yes you have done something substantial in the day; perhaps you were able to meet deadlines, keep appointments or whatever. Don’t go to bed without giving thanks to God if you have one. Appreciate whoever it is that made it possible, give credits to friends who stood by you, colleagues who assisted you during the day. Celebrate your day.
REFLECT ON THE DAY: To reflect is to think seriously about an issue. The victories and the failures did not happen by chance something caused it. Think of what you did and did not do. Think of what you said and did not say. Just look back and replay the movie of the day.
LEARN THE LESSONS: Life is a collection of experiences. We learn from either our own experience or other people’s. At the end of each day the result of your activities will always show. Whether you failed or succeeded in your tasks don’t forget to learn the lessons life presents in the form challenges.
PLAN FOR TOMORROW: Planning is deciding in advance what to do in the nearest future. I prefer planning my tomorrow the night before, this is the best way to eliminate unnecessary activities and time wasting. A lot of people leave their day to chance, this is dangerous and unprofitable. Learn to decide what you want your day to be like. This is the sure way to predict the future and eliminate uncertainty.
